CLAT 2012 Exam Dates/ Notification:-
    * Issue of application forms of CLAT :- 2nd January, 2012 (Monday)
    * Last Date for submission of filled-in application forms:- 31st March 2012 (Saturday)
    * Issue of Hall Tickets:- Up to 14th April 2012 (Saturday)
    * Date of CLAT 2012:- 13th May 2012 (Sunday) from 03:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Eligibility for CLAT Exam Undergraduate Programmes:- A candidate should have passed his/her Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability).~ Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.° Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability)~ as on 1st July, 2011.

Eligibility for CLAT Test Postgraduate Programmes:-
A candidate should have obtained a LL.B/B.L. Degree or an equivalent degree from a recognised University with not less than 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of SC/ST /OBC and persons with Disability)

IBPS to conduct Common Written Exam (CWE) for Specialist Officers Cadre
IBPS, an autonomous body, has been authorised by the IBA and has received mandates from 19 Public Sector Banks to conduct the recruitment of Specialist Officers
A common written examination (CWE) will be conducted on 11th March, 2012 by the IBPS as a pre-requisites for selection of personnel for Specialist Officers Cadre posts in the following 19 Public Sector Banks

Those will be successful in the common written exam (CWE) will be given a scorecard (like CAT exam of IIM) and may apply to any of the participating bank when they come up with their job vacancy and then these successful candidates have quote their personal details and their CWE scores
Each of the bank will issue individual recruitment notifications, details of vacancies, eligibility criteria etc separately

SBI Clerk Recruitment - 2012

State Bank of India (SBI) invites application for the recruitment of more than 3000 clerks in 2012
Posts: 3035 (in various associate banks of SBI)

Pay Scale:
Rs. 7200-19300

Age Limit:
18 - 28 years (as on Dec 01, 2011)

Eligibility (as on Dec 01, 2011):
12th std. with 60% marks OR Diploma (after 10th) with 60% OR Degree (UG) with 40% aggregate
Candidate should be able to write and speak English fluently.
Knowledge of local language is desired.

Selection Procedure:
The selections will be made on the basis of a Written test & Interview. The written test is Objective type & there is no descriptive test.

Syllabus and Pattern:
The written test will be of Objective type consisting of
(i) General Awareness
(ii) General English
(iii) Quantitative Aptitude
(iv) Reasoning Ability
(v) Marketing Aptitude / Computer Knowledge
There will be negative marks for the wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the marks allocated to the question will be deducted in case of the answer is incorrect.
